With the COVID-19 Virus on the world’s stage, Blauberg’s BlauAir is here to help fight this airborne virus.

Hospitals present one of the most unique and challenging air filtration requirements in the ventilation world. When it comes to hospital ventilation there is nothing to take lightly. High efficiency filters (EPA & HEPA) are used in these units to help bring the cleanest air possible into the hospital. HEPA filters are mandatory for any surgical suite or isolation room. While other areas like laboratories only require MERV-13, and common areas require MERV-8. It is still best to use HEPA filters where you can to help control the air quality throughout the hospital.

Our BlauAIR is a multifunctional air handling unit that provides energy efficient commercial ventilation, the best comfort, and the best microclimate in shopping centers, businesses, or other large facilities. The unit’s main function is to maintain temperature, humidity, energy recovery, and air filtration in these large premises.

The operation of the air-recovery system is very important in any room, especially if it is a large commercial, civil, or industrial facility with a significant number of people, because it is about health, safety, and comfort. Sophisticated and high-tech ventilation equipment is required for these such facilities.

Today, the main issue of creating a healthy microclimate, and ventilation is particularly acute, especially in a city or industrial center. A complex ventilation solution is needed that allows creating a multifunctional and efficient commercial ventilation system.

That’s where our BlauAIR comes in.

Our commercial ventilator, BlauAIR, has a wide scope of applications, it is intended for large offices, banking institutions, exhibition centers, hotels, production facilities, warehouses, supermarkets, cinemas, sports halls, and other large premises. They can be both inside or outside, wherever the need for a commercial air handling unit is necessary.

All BlauAIR pass multi-stage testing in our testing laboratories and are high-quality modern energy-saving units that meet the requirements of the modern market.

Our BlauAIR’s are unique as Blauberg has the capability to produce customized units as powerful as 75,000 CFM. The BlauAIR can be equipped with a heat recovery ventilator (What is an HRV?) (What is an ERV?) as well, which uses the heat of the exhaust air to heat the supply air at no additional cost. Also, in the unit is an energy recovery ventilator, which returns not only the heat of the exhaust air, but also the moisture contained in it as well. This ensures operation without moisture condensation, even at negative temperature values, as well as high energy efficiency.

The special design of the casing, which is made of zinc-aluminium with 40 mm of thermal and acoustic insulation made of mineral wool, reduces heat loss, and eliminates thermal bridges and condensation on the surface during air cooling, which is especially important if the unit is installed outside the building.

How do you control and maintain these units?

BlauAIR is convenient in maintenance and management, it is equipped with a modern control “Plug & Play” system based on a programmable Carel controller. The basic parameters are set remotely via a remote-control panel with a user-friendly interface. With the help of a smart system, temperature control, pressure control, maintenance, airflow, humidity (with additional sensors), air quality control (with CO2 / IAQ sensors), enabling “free-cooling” or “free-heating” modes are possible. The standard outputs of the controller allow the connection of additional sensors.

You can select the necessary BlauAIR model and order the installation directly on the company’s website here. Also, you can schedule a call with a qualified consultant who will contact you and acquaint you with the solutions available, as well as give recommendations on equipment selection.

Blauberg uses the same concept for their hospital ventilation, as we do for our residential units.

Not enough people take their in-home air quality seriously, but Blauberg has ventilation systems as small as single room, up to whole home units.

To combat this issue, our unique Vento Series of single room energy-saving ventilators provide a healthy microclimate in the home. You can control the units from anywhere in the apartment because of the WiFi capabilities that the VENTO Expert A50-1 W and VENTO Expert DUO A30-1 W have.

The filters have antibacterial coating, pre-cleaning the incoming air from dust and other harmful substances. This is very important, because the air that enters the home naturally, contains dust, exhaust gases, as well as various bacteria.

VENTO units are one of a kind product. They are mounted directly into the outer wall of the building, therefore there is no need to install the duct system. The process of installation does not require special knowledge and tools.

Units can be used in the renovation, or in design builds for promotion of a ventilation systems “energy-saving home”.

Another option is our FreshBox Series. The FRESHBOX 100 is designed for the ventilation of social or commercial premises but may also be used in private houses and apartments. To protect the premises from dust and other harmful substances, FRESHBOX 100 are equipped with MERV8 and MERV14 filters. If necessary, MERV14 filters can be replaced with HEPA, for even more effective air cleaning.

The operation of several such units will provide an air exchange system in your home or an office.

These recovery ventilators are equipped with EC motors, and its operation demonstrates high efficiency with low power consumption.

The units contribute to this energy savings using recovery technology of the home. In the winter, some of the heat (up to 96%) of the exhaust air is transferred to the supply air; in the summer, the exhaust air cools the warm air from the street.

FRESHBOX 100 – are heat recovery units (what is an HRV?) equipped with plate heat exchangers made of polystyrene, and the modification of FRESHBOX 100 ERV – are energy recovery units (what is an ERV?) equipped with enthalpy heat exchangers.

Energy recovery ventilators, FRESHBOX 100 ERV’s transfer not only heat but also moisture. In the summer, the recuperator cools and drains the supply air, in the winter it warms and moisturizes.

To protect the premises from dust and other harmful substances, FRESHBOX 100 are equipped with MERV8 and MERV14 filters. If necessary, MERV14 filters can be replaced with HEPA, for even more effective air cleaning.

The final option is our whole home KOMFORT Series. This smart home system is one of the most efficient units in the market, that provides controllable air exchange for creating the best suitable indoor microclimate.

The built-in MERV13 supply filter and MERV8 exhaust filter provide efficient air filtration.

High-efficient external rotor EC motors and centrifugal impellers are used for air supply and exhaust. EC motors have the best power consumption to air flow ratio, and meet the latest demands concerning energy saving and high-efficient ventilation. EC motors are featured with high performance, low noise level, and totally controllable speed range, dynamically balanced impellers, and supply fan exhaust filter.
